Magnetic Mallet

A unique and completely innovative patented surgical device now for the first time in the US market

Download
Designed to be used in dentistry surgery and implantology, this device gives the surgeon a series of options for all advanced bone augmentation procedures such as sinus lift, split crest and ridge expansion, and avoids the use of milling and drills. The Magnetic Mallet stems from the development  of Summers’ osteotome technique, retaining all its advantages and removing all the drawbacks and inconveniences of this manual practice.

It comes  with a range of specific instruments that simplify the extraction of roots, implants and impacted teeth, enabling the alveolar integrity preservation.

With the Magnetic Mallet, surgeons can operate with greater visibility and control, preserving the bone and ensuring the greatest possible comfort for the patient both in complex implant surgeries and simple extractions.

This is why Magnetic Mallet innovative, safety and ergonomic features make it such a versatile device, enabling the majority of surgical practices to be performed more easily, safely and quickly while still achieving satisfying and expected results.
Advantages for the patient

  • No more BPPV disorder
  • Less trauma during surgery
  • Faster recovery
  • No bone loss
  • Poor bone quality is improved
Advantages for the surgeon
  • Better visibility and control
  • Simplified bone augmentation procedures
  • Precision positioning and alignment of osteotomes
  • Higher initial implant stability
  • Limitation of bone milling
  • More implant sites
  • No need to perform sinus lifts with Caldwell-Luc
  • Alveolar integrity preservation
  • Better access to the posterior maxilla
  • Simplified lower jaw surgery
  • Faster techniques
  • Assisted implant insertion
How does the Magnetic Mallet work?

The Magnetic Mallet exploits an electronically operated electromagnetic collision between two masses, which allows a high-intensity impact to be applied exceedingly quickly; this produces an elastic wave, followed by a certain amount of motion, which creates an inelastic shock wave on the bone.

This facilitates plastic deformation.

The Magnetic Mallet is designed to apply four forces of different strengths from minimum (force number 1) to maximum (force number 4)
Wide range of osteotomes and instruments
Magnetic mallet is equipped with a kit of 10 instruments in its standard configuration, but a wide range of optional bone expanders/osteotomes, cutters and surgery instruments is available. All the instruments were designed in collaboration with a group of experts and are the result of years of clinical tests and relevant feedback.

All the instruments are available both in an autoclavable tray and separately.
